Ingredients: 1 pound lean ground beef 1 package taco seasoning 3/4 cup water 3 large wheat tortillas 1/2 cup queso blanco (store bought is fine, or you can make my homemade version if you want!) 1 1/2 cup taco blend shredded cheese Sour cream for topping, if desired Instructions: Preheat oven to 350. Brown the beef in a large skillet and drain the grease. Mix in the taco seasoning and water, bring to a boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove the beef from heat and stir in the queso blanco. Spray a round baking pan with cooking spray and place a tortilla in the pan. Spoon 1/3 of the meat mixture onto the tortilla and spread evenly. Top with 1/3 of the cheese. Continue until you are done with the layers. Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Slice and top with sour cream if desired. |
