Cayenne Pepper Brownies

1 cup butter
6 oz bittersweet chocolate
2 oz semisweet chocolate
4 eggs
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup flour
vanilla ice cream for serving, if desired

Preheat oven to 350.
Coarsely chop the chocolate.
Bring water to a near simmer in a small saucepan and place the chocolate and butter in a heat proof bowl sitting over the pan, but not touching the water. Stir occasionally, until the chocolate is fully melted.
While the chocolate is melting, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
Once the chocolate has melted, whisk it into the sugar and egg mixture.
Whisk in the cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt until well blended, then stir in the flour until just combined.
Line a 13x9 inch pan with foil and pour the brownie mixture into the pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack completely before cutting into pieces.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
