Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup flour
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 squares chocolate candy coating
sea salt, if desired

Beat together the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla.
Gradually beat in the flour and salt.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Use a spoon to form small balls, and place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then melt the chocolate candy coating for about 1 minute. 
Place a sandwich size ziploc bag in a glass, and fold over the top edge.
Fill the bag with the melted chocolate, and cut the corner tip of the bag.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over each ball.
Refrigerate for another 15 minutes, then top sprinkle with sea salt, if desired.
