Gingerbread Bars

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
10 tbsp butter, softened
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
7 1/2 tbsp sugar, divided
2 eggs
1/4 cup molasses

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350
Set aside 2 tbsp of flour, then combine the remaining flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, baking soda, and salt. 
In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and 6 tbsp of sugar, until fluffy. 
Beat in the eggs and then the molasses. 
Gradually beat in the flour mixture until fully combined. 
Spread the batter in a foil-lined 15x10x1 inch baking sheet. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and just enough of the remaining flour to very lightly coat the top of the batter. 
Bake for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 
Cool on a wire rack then cut into bars.
