Gooey Red Velvet Bars

1 box red velvet cake mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350.
In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, vegetable oil, and egg.
Stir in the milk until fully combined and the lumps in the batter are gone.
Pour the batter into an 8x8 pan lined with foil.
Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes, until the top has a nice cooked "crust". It may seem like they’re not fully done in the center, but it’s important to let them sit in the pan for 30-45 minutes (or until completely cooled) before cutting them to let them firm up, while still remaining nice and gooey.
After you've let them cool completely, cut into bars.
